Always happy to meet people
Over the few years I have operated a shop and studio in France I have been fortunate to make many new friends. Aside from my regular clients who will call by the shop for a chat and a purchase, I am building an online following from people across France.
Loom time
Weaving is an age-old profession going back thousands of years. It is simple in concept yet complex in practice. To set up in readiness to produce new material can take a few days before a single yarn is married to another. Progress can be slow as keeping tight control over quality requires patience and commitment, not to mention a high degree of physical stamina.
Loulou time
From time-to-time I allow my adorable French miniature poodle, Loulou to spend a day with me at the studio. Delightful as she is, she can be a bit of a time-waster (when she wants a cuddle, she's impossible to ignore).

But we love each other's company and sometimes, the life of a weaver can be a bit of a lonely one.
