Now you own your own prized hand woven scarf it needs to be looked after carefully - after all you want it to last for many years. Gently hand wash in cool water, taking care not to rub or agitate the fibres. Leave to dry naturally - heat such as in washing or drying could felt the fibres changing the feel of the scarf.
